Never too cold, never too hot, lots of fog in the mornings! Perfect temperature year-round, right on the water. PG is next to Pebble Beach, Carmel, and Monterey, with tons of things to do – cycling, golfing, tennis, pickleball. Walking along a beautiful coastline. Whale watching and fishing. Small, original, one-two story brick village, with lots of family-owned restaurants and stores, plus of course the world renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium Just five minutes away. Most of the homes are still intact from the Victorian-era, with front porches and parlours, and many are open for Christmas tours. The Asilomar Conference Grounds are also in PG, a large, natural log-cabin style rambling place, with big stone fireplaces and impressive wood beam assembly rooms, designed by Julia Morgan (of Hearst Castle fame).
