Santa Barbara is a pretty celebrated beach community with great weather nearly all year long. It is expensive to live here and the housing market has not slowed down during Covid. But there are some wonderful areas around SB that deliver the great weather and beach without the $. Consider Summerland to the south and Goleta to the north and you’ll find great beaches (that dogs love, too!) and fun places to eat.
