I moved to East Sacramento 3 months before Covid hit and even in that year of being shut down I was impressed with this City of Trees. It’s urban and everything about that holds true here. But as a single woman in her mature years I’m comfortable walking, riding my bike, enjoying the farm to fork restaurants and frequenting music venues alone without feeling out of place. There’s a big swing dance community here too! It’s just 90 minutes from the SF North Bay, Napa and Tahoe. Easy to enjoy day trips. I love it!
